The Spinal Injury Foundation is dedicated to research, education, and advocacy for those with chronic spinal injuries. Each year, through the generosity of its employees, partners and sponsors,  the Spinal Injury Foundation benefits thousands of individuals forced to endure spinal pain or forced to watch a loved one endure such pain. 

From education and in-kind donations to financial assistance, SIF contributes to many communities through its sponsorship of the following programs.

The Spinal Injury Foundation funds advocacy efforts such as programs that allow patients without funds to travel for the best spinal care possible. We also keep patients and medical providers informed about the legislative environments that may impact those with chronic spinal injury.  

Medical Device Exchange
The Spinal Injury foundation is launching a program where patients can exchange medical devices such as bone stimulators, traction units , tens machines and more.  click here  We also welcome donations of medical equipment by medical providers
 
 
 

smith fund

Each year the Spinal Injury Foundation awards $1000 grants to people who need a hand.  The genesis of this fund was a young man with a severe spinal injury for whom the pain became too much to bear. For additional information about the Smith Fund, click here.

holiday toys

  Every holiday season the Spinal Injury Foundation purchases toys for the children of patients with disabling chronic spinal pain who are out of work due to their injuries. Click here for more information.

  Do you know a parent who is out of work due to disabling chronic spinal injury pain?  You can submit an online form that will qualify you or another eligible candidate to participate in a random drawing for a holiday gift. Click here for more details.

save your neck program

Tens of thousands of people each year receive permanent spinal injuries as a result of rear end crashes. Most of these life changing injuries can be prevented or minimized with proper seat design and public awareness.

The Save Your Neck program is designed to increase public awareness about neck and spinal injuries with the ultimate goal of preventing those injuries. Want to learn more about this program?  If so, click here.
